Blackpowder

Black powder range

Farmer's and Sportsmen's Club hosts one of the most active mountain men group of people in the state of Wisconsin. If you visit Farmer's and Sportsmen's Club on any Thursday evening when they compete on their Black powder rifle range, you may see many of them running around the club property dressed up in their buckskins, both men, women, and children. The group goes by the name of "The Skunk Hollow Buckskinner's", and they host two "Rendezvous" each year. One in the 3rd week of March called the "Snow Angel Rendezvous", and another in the 2nd week of August call the "Skunk Hollow Rendezvous". The public is invited to both events, come see all the activity at the rendezvous, Muzzleloading Rifle competition, Spear, Knife and Tomahawk throwing contest. Also at these rendezvous you will be able to see the trapper's village, recreated just like the trappers villages of the 1800's when there gathered together to sell their furs.
